Keighley BID Members – This is your chance to feed in your views on Keighley’s new Plan for Neighbourhoods.

In March 2025, the Plan for Neighbourhoods prospectus confirmed an investment in 75 areas across the UK.  Keighley was selected as one of those areas that could access up to £20m over a 10-year period.

 

The newly established Neighbourhood Board will, in partnership with the Council, develop a Regeneration Plan, setting out its vision for the next 10-years, alongside a detailed Investment Plan for the first 4-years of the programme.

Keighley BID Member - Business Consultation

As part of this process we are seeking the views of Keighley BID members using an online survey.  This consultation is based around the 8 themes provided by the Government for the Plan For Neighbourhoods Funding.

  1. Regeneration, high streets and heritage
  2. Housing
  3. Business support, productivity and skills
  4. Community cohesion
  5. Health and well-being
  6. Transport
  7. Safety and security
  8. Education and opportunity

Online Survey

Keighley BID Members – please keep your eye our for an email containing a link to an online survey. This will be sent to all BID Members that are on our mailing list on the 2nd September.  If you are a member of Keighley BID but not on our mailing list, and want to take part in the consultation please drop us a line hello@keighleybid.com before the 20th September.

The survey asks your views on which of the 8 themes you feel are most important when deciding of the Plans for Neighbourhoods funds are allocated.

For each theme you have selected, you will be asked to allocate funding between different project ideas which have been provided by the government. 

Your Project Ideas

The final question in the survey asks if you have any project ideas you think are important for Keighley which have not  been covered within the survey.    If your answer is yes  to this question, you are given the opportunity to add any project ideas that you think should be supported.

If  you prefer to give your feedback in person we will arrange a workshop.  Please drop us a line at hello@keighleybid.com to let us know you’d like to attend a workshop before the 5th September to give us time to arrange suitable dates.  Remember the deadline for this business consultation is the 23rd September 2025.
