Keighley Heritage Art Trail launch
11th October 2025
Paintings depicting iconic Keighley building will be displayed in businesses throughout the town centre between 11th October and 17th November
Born and raised in Keighley, Bell has channelled his passion for his hometown into a fun collection of paintings depicting local landmarks. In the autumn of 2025 Kev very kindly lent his paintings to Keighley BID to use to create a trail of artwork around Keighley town centre.
Some of the landmarks painted include The Picture House, Temperance Hall (now The Livery Rooms), Central Hall, Cavendish Street, and the Royal Arcade. Each artwork is filled with hidden details for visitors to discover – from famous Keighley natives to local characters from Bell’s youth, plus a signature ladybird concealed within every painting.
Historically important buildings
Each painting location features historical notes written by historian Eddie Kelly, providing visitors with fascinating insights into Keighley’s past. Trail participants can test their knowledge by answering questions on the back of the art trail map for a chance to win shopping vouchers.
