Keighley BID joined forces with BOLT Academy to liven up the Airedale Centre with a FREE Performing Arts Experience.
Children from across Keighley took centre stage last weekend as part of a free performing arts event organised by Keighley Business Improvement District (BID) in the Airedale Centre.
BOLT Academy, a local performing arts school, delivered interactive singing and dance workshops, giving children the chance to have a go at performing. Children were taught songs and dance from the musicals The Greatest Showman and Wicked, filling the Airedale Centre with enthusiasm.
BOLT Academy students also took to the floor to deliver performances of well-known songs, drawing crowds and keeping shoppers entertained throughout the day.
"It was wonderful to see so many happy faces in the Airedale Centre on Saturday. The children were absolutely outstanding, and kept the crowds entertained all day long. A huge thank you to everyone who took part and those who came to support them."

"It was such an amazing day from start to finish. Seeing the Airedale Centre so busy again was really special. Being a Keighley lad myself, I remember how lively it used to be, so it was great to have a bit of the old Keighley back for the day. It was fantastic to see so many young children joining in with our team — singing, dancing and acting with such confidence and enthusiasm. I also want to say a huge well done to our BOLT Academy students for their incredible performances throughout the day. They made me extremely proud. If anyone enjoyed what they saw, we run weekly classes in all aspects of performing arts for children aged three and above.
