The paintings are located close to the building or scene that they depict around Keighley town centre.  Scroll down to find a full list of painting locations, and the times they can be viewed.

Every painting has famous and local Keighley characters to spot – find a few clues in the useful info section below.

Keep your eyes peeled for the trail treat signs which are displayed by businesses who have small treats for children participating in the trail. 

One treat per person, and subject to availability.  Children must be accompanied by an adult.  Treats not suitable for children under 3.

Displayed within the café area Monday to Friday where trail participants can enjoy team and coffee for £1!

Sat & Sun this painting is displayed in the entrance window.

Look out for the Northern Lights, and Leda’s Ice Cream van (whose parlour was located on Alice Street).

  • Tuesday: 9am to 5pm

  • Saturday: 9am to 4pm

There are lots of famous Keighley people to find in this painting.  Some old like the Bronte Sisters, and new like Ellie Kildunne.  Some may recognise old Keighley characters Doris Tatum (the Queen of the Green), Emily Matchbox and Ivan the hot dog seller.

This painting was inspired by the visit of Barnum & Bailey’s Greatest Show on Earth and Buffalo Bill’s Wild West show – who both visited Keighley.

Royal Arcade

On Wednesdays this painting can be viewed just around the corner in the window of Keighley BID Office, Unit 15 Royal Arcade.

Spot a few people who have worked in the Arcade amongst the carol singers.
