Improving Safety in Keighley – Radio Trial Underway!

This week, the Keighley BID team, in collaboration with the police, have been busy delivering radios to local businesses and security teams as part of an exciting new trial.

With the support of the Yorkshire Business Crime Network, who generously provided the radios, this trial aims to tackle shoplifting, anti-social behaviour, and crime. The system connects businesses, police, and CCTV stations, ensuring better communication and a stronger response to incidents and prevention.

Together with the police, we’ve identified key businesses to take part in the trial, helping to test how this system can prevent crime and build cases against offenders. If successful, we plan to roll this initiative out across the town, creating a safer and more welcoming Keighley for everyone.
