Business Liaison Officer

Are you ready to play a key role in shaping the future of Keighley Town Centre? We’re looking for an enthusiastic, proactive, and dedicated Business Liaison Officer to join our team at Keighley BID (Business Improvement District).

  • Position: Business Liaison Officer
  • Hours: Part-time, 20 hours per week (flexible start/finish times)
  • Location: Keighley Town Centre (office base: Civic Centre, BD21 3RZ)
  • Salary: £25,000 pro rata
  • Contract: Fixed-term to November 2028, extension subject to funding
  • Benefits: 27 days annual leave + public holidays (pro rata), auto-enrolment pension

What You’ll Do


As the first point of contact for BID levy-paying businesses, you’ll foster meaningful connections, support local businesses and contribute to exciting projects that promote a vibrant, clean, and safe town centre.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Building relationships with businesses and stakeholders.
  • Assisting in the delivery of events and BID projects.
  • Updating and maintaining digital platforms like the BID website and social media channels.
  • Supporting businesses in resolving challenges and creating opportunities for growth.

Your Skills & Attributes

  • Strong communicator and team player with a can-do attitude.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise, and problem solve.
  • Knowledge of Keighley and its local business landscape is a plus.
