Who are we?

Since the legislation was introduced in the UK in 2004, more than 300 Business Improvement Districts (BIDs) have been developed in towns, cities and business parks across the UK with a total investment exceeding £100m annually.

Keighley BID was formed in 2016 and ran until 2021. Keighley BID’s second term will run from 1 June 2024 – 30 November 2028.

Keighley has some fantastic assets but it is not immune to the general challenges high streets across the UK face, whether it is a pandemic or a cost of living crisis. The work of the BID aims to support, promote and improve Keighley for businesses, visitors and residents to make the town the best it can be.

Keighley BID’s Vision is:

To develop Keighley Town Centre into a thriving destination, that delivers a vibrant, safe and clean experience for consumers and a prosperous environment for business.

This will be delivered through three objectives:

• A promoted and more vibrant Keighley
• Safer, Cleaner and Greener Keighley
• Supported Business Community
