The 2026 Keighley & Airedale Business Awards have officially launched, bringing together businesses, organisations, and community leaders from across the district to celebrate another exciting year for the local business community.
The launch event, held at Taylor’s on the Green, welcomed sponsors, previous winners, finalists, and local organisations ahead of entries opening for this year’s awards programme.
As headline sponsor, Keighley BID is proud to support an event that continues to recognise the innovation, resilience, and achievements of businesses across Keighley and Airedale.
Among the sponsors attending the launch were previous award winners, who reflected on the positive impact the awards have had on their businesses. Spellman Care, who won Independent / Family Run Business of the Year in 2024 and was shortlisted for Health and Wellbeing Business of the Year in 2025, shared their excitement about supporting the awards in a new capacity this year as sponsor of the awards.
They said;
"It was lovely to see Bec Severs, Chair of Keighley BID and owner of Three Little Birds Bakery. Keighley BID are the main sponsor this year and do such a brilliant job for our town. We also enjoyed chatting with Nicholas Smith from The Missing Peace about the vital work they do to support mental health within our community "

The evening will once again be hosted by local Keighley man himself, BBC Look North presenter Paul Hudson, whose return was warmly welcomed by attendees.
The launch event also provided an opportunity for local businesses and organisations to reconnect and discuss future collaborations, including conversations surrounding community wellbeing initiatives and support for projects across the district.
Entries for the Keighley & Airedale Business Awards are now open and free to enter, with submissions closing on 31st July 2026.
Businesses and organisations from across the district are encouraged to explore the award categories and submit their entries for the chance to be recognised among the region’s leading businesses.
